An electrical transformer is mounted to a four-inch concrete housekeeping base that is anchored directly to the structural floor slab. The concrete base connects to the slab using one number four rebar at each corner, extending three inches into both the slab and the base with a minimum of three inches of edge coverage. Half-inch by four-inch epoxy anchors are installed at each of the four corners of the base as a typical connection.
