A retractable cord reel is suspended from the overhead structure using four three-eighths-inch threaded rods attached to a white-painted one-quarter-inch by twelve-inch by six-inch steel mounting plate secured with through bolts. Lateral sway bracing is provided with a minimum of two braces per mount in both directions, and each threaded rod includes two three-eighths-inch nuts and one three-eighths-inch washer. A one-hundred-twenty-volt, twenty-ampere twist-lock receptacle is mounted flush with the T-bar ceiling to match the reel plug, connected via conduit running along the structure ceiling. The drop cord features a dual duplex receptacle at its terminus and includes ground fault circuit interrupter and open neutral protection.
