This 18-inch diameter concrete light pole base is constructed of 3,000 PSI concrete with a 1-inch chamfer at the top edge. The reinforcement consists of six number 5 vertical reinforcing bars spaced uniformly to avoid interference with anchor rods, and number 3 ties spaced at 12 inches on center, with four number 3 bars at 3 inches on center near the top. Anchor bolts are sized and located per the manufacturer's requirements. Two Schedule 40 PVC conduits are embedded for lighting conductors, with one run to the power panel or previous pole and the other to the next pole. A lighting circuit grounding conductor is provided for connection to the pole-mounted ground lug. The total depth of the base is a maximum of 5 feet, with a minimum of 24 inches of burial depth below grade.
