An electrical panel with a maximum weight of three hundred pounds is surface-mounted to a drywall partition backed by sixteen-gauge steel channels. Unistrut P-1000 channels extend vertically from the floor to the top of the enclosure and are secured with two quarter-inch sheet metal screws at each backing plate. The panel connects to the Unistrut using three-eighths-inch diameter bolts with spring washers at each corner for a total of four bolts.
