A dome security camera is mounted to a four-inch square electrical box recessed flush in the ceiling line, fitted with a circular mud ring for a clean drywall finish. A three-quarter-inch electrical conduit feeds into the top of the junction box from above to house the necessary wiring. The entire assembly supports a maximum camera weight of five pounds.
