An electrical door access control schematic showing the spatial relationship and wiring routing between a door and associated security devices. A control box connects to a door contact switch at the header, a card reader and lock mechanism on the jamb, and a transfer hinge. Wiring runs from the control box maintaining a six-inch offset dimension to the adjacent wall switch or mounting junction. Conduit and low-voltage cabling interconnect all numbered control points around the door opening.
