An HSS8x2x5/16 hollow structural section with a one-quarter-inch thick cap plate supports the assembly framing into a curtain wall connection. A minimum four-inch clearance or as required is maintained for the curtain wall connection. The supporting steel member integrates with the skylight framing and vertical curtain wall alignment.
