Overhead mounting brackets secure recessed light fixtures to adjacent ceiling joists using number eight sheet metal screws spaced at twenty-four inches on center typically. The fixture housing accommodates either trim or trimless configurations determined per the fixture schedule. Attachment to the framing is made through side flanges fastened directly into the joist members.
