Electrical conduit seal fittings in both horizontal and vertical configurations use a specific packing and sealing method. Conductors pass through threaded conduit bodies containing a damming layer of fiber filler compressed around the wires. A poured sealing compound fills the remaining cavity above the fiber filler to prevent the passage of gases and flames. The assembly utilizes threaded fittings to secure the conduit runs on each side.
