A 4-inch or smaller electrical conduit crosses a structural expansion joint using a 54-inch long flexible conduit section. The rigid conduit is securely anchored at each end before the joint transition. A bonding jumper is provided across the flexible section to comply with National Electrical Code requirements. Architectural plans should be referenced for the exact locations of conduit expansion joint crossings.
