Electrical raceways ranging from three-quarters of an inch to six inches in diameter are suspended from structural framing members using appropriately sized beam clamps or hanger clamps selected according to the supported weight. All-threaded rod of a size required by the load connects the beam clamp to a conduit hanger when dropping down to larger raceways. Smaller raceways from three-quarters of an inch to one inch utilize direct-mounted conduit hangers attached to the structural unit. Tie wire is strictly prohibited from being used as a component of any raceway hanger system.
NOTE: TIE WIRE SHALL NOT BE USED AS A COMPONENT OF ANY RACEWAY HANGER SYSTEM.
