A junction box is located above the accessible ceiling on the secure side of the door at a height of nine feet above finished floor or higher. A three-quarter-inch conduit runs from the junction box to the controller with location verified in the field. Half-inch conduits extend from the junction box to the door contact, electric door strike or latch hardware, and a card reader mounted forty-eight inches above finished floor.
