A wide flange beam per plan connects to a column utilizing a typical beam-column connection with four bolts. A hollow structural section beam positioned per plan frames into the assembly below, supported by a 5/8-inch by 9-inch plate centered on the wide flange and hollow structural section beams. A continuous 5/8-inch plate is provided at each side with a hollow structural section beam in front. Five-sixteenths inch fillet welds secure the connection plates and structural members with typical equal spacings.
