This electrical ductbank detail shows a cast-in-place concrete encasement surrounding a 2x2 arrangement of four-inch communication conduits and four-inch communication spare conduits. The assembly rests on a four-inch class A or class C backfill base and includes plastic conduit spacers and supports to maintain alignment and prevent conduit float during the concrete pour. Continuous number 4 reinforcing bars run longitudinally along the ductbank corners. The concrete top is crowned to a peak one inch above the sides of the duct. Red plastic warning tape is positioned twelve inches below grade.
