An EPDM synthetic compression molded rubber boot seals around a vertical conduit penetration on a roof assembly. The boot secures to the conduit using a stainless steel banding clamp with a bead of caulk at the top. An aluminum flash base sits atop a temporary flashing layer, which is integrated with a target sheet adhered to the roof per the manufacturer's recommendations. A strip sheet bridges the new roof system over the existing roof layers.
