This assembly consists of a cylindrical reinforced concrete foundation pier with a 36-inch height above grade and a 6-foot depth below grade. The foundation is constructed of 3000 PSI minimum compression strength concrete and includes a 1-inch chamfer at the top edge. Vertical reinforcement comprises eight number 7 ASTM-A615 grade 60 reinforcing bars spaced equally around the perimeter, with three number 4 ties spaced at 2 inches on center provided at the top and bottom of the anchor bolt assembly. The lighting pole is secured to the foundation via anchor bolts sized per manufacturer requirements. A conduit is installed with a 2-foot 6-inch minimum bury depth, and the exposed portion of the concrete base is specified to have a rubbed finish.
