Continuous hollow structural section beams intersect at parapet corners over a hollow structural section post below, secured with five-sixteenth-inch and three-eighths-inch welds including complete joint penetration welds where indicated. Where the hollow structural section beams do not fully cover the hollow structural section post below, a one-half-inch by four-and-one-half-inch by four-and-one-half-inch cap plate is provided at the top of the hollow structural section column.
