Each individual conduit is sealed with a conduit plug at the termination point. Two-foot long number four reinforcing bar dowels are placed in the outside concrete envelope at every second conduit from the top. The bare conduit extends twelve inches beyond the duct bank concrete envelope. A red electrical locator ball, furnished by the owner and installed by the contractor, is positioned no deeper than four feet below finished grade directly above the end of the duct bank. The concrete envelope terminates with a forty-five degree slope.
