An electrical seal is positioned at the boundary location between an electrical hazardous location and a nonhazardous location area. The seal must be placed at the first conduit joint and within three meters of the wall penetration to prevent the passage of gases or vapors. A luminaire is installed within the hazardous space connected via conduit runs.
