A rigid conduit penetrates a double fire-rated concrete wall assembly with packing material and a one-inch depth of 3M fire barrier CP 25WP caulk in a maximum annular space of one and three-eighths inches. The conduit transitions via steel pipe couplings to three-foot liquid-tight flexible steel conduit sections on either side of the double wall to accommodate seismic movement. The assembly maintains the fire rating of the concrete wall while allowing for differential displacement between the structural leaves.
