A four-inch octagonal, two-and-a-quarter-inch deep junction box is recessed above the ceiling plane with electrical wiring passing through to the fixture below. A ceiling sensor mounts directly to the junction box using mounting screws inserted through the housing. A front cover conceals the mounting fasteners and finishes the flush installation.
