Electrical and telephone service grounds connect to a vertical ground rod using a cast bronze universal splicer. A rope lay copper ground conductor joins the nearest lightning protection system ground via a high compression connector. This copper ground conductor extends to a copper pipe bonding strap secured to the incoming domestic and fire suppression system water lines. A secondary high compression connector links the bonding strap circuit to the lightning protection system ground to ensure electrical continuity across the building's grounding infrastructure.
