An on-grade flood light fixture mounts to a non-metallic weatherproof junction box set flush within a six-inch unreinforced concrete pad and sloped mounting block. Polyvinyl chloride schedule 40 conduit routes power supply lines into the bottom of the junction box from below finish grade. The fixture mounting bracket seals against the concrete mounting block using contractor-provided room temperature vulcanizing sealant, positioned eighteen inches from adjacent signage.
