An adjustable pipe support assembly featuring an outer 3-inch Schedule 40 steel pipe sleeve fitted over an inner 2-1/2-inch Schedule 40 steel pipe with a threaded reducer locknut adjuster. The top is secured with an adjustable pipe support having a U-bolt yoke (Anvil International Fig. 265 or approved equal) matching the outside diameter of the pipe as shown on plans. The lower base consists of a pipe support base (Anvil International Fig. 63 Type T or approved equal) welded per manufacturer recommendations to a 3/8-inch by 10-inch by 10-inch base plate. This base plate bears on a 1-inch non-shrink grout pad over the finished floor and is anchored by epoxy adhesive anchors with stainless steel all-thread, leveling and fastening nuts, and washers (typical of four). Minimum anchor size and embedment depth are per submitted and approved anchorage calculations referencing current International Building Code requirements.
