A Class A Portland cement concrete curb bears on a scarified and recompacted subgrade per the geotechnical report with a four-inch embedment depth. Asphalt concrete paving rests on base rock adjacent to the curb, transitioning at a variable depth. The curb profile measures six inches wide at the top with a half-inch offset and a six-inch typical height above the paving surface, with total vertical dimensions varying. Weep holes are placed on all curbs and curb-and-gutter assemblies where landscaping slopes toward the curb, spaced at ten feet on center or at each scoreline.
