A quarter-inch galvanized steel orifice plate is secured inside a manhole structure with one-half-inch stainless steel bolts and expansion shields. The steel plate is constructed from ASTM A36 steel and all metal parts are coated with asphaltum paint. The assembly features specified dimensions for bolt spacing and manhole diameter per plan, with the invert located per plan below.
