A sign post is embedded into a cast-in-place concrete footing with a minimum diameter of twelve inches and a minimum depth of four feet. The concrete is poured over a compacted sub-grade prepared per the geotechnical report. A six-inch long number four rebar is set in a pre-drilled hole through the post base for anchorage. The finish grade slopes away from the post at two percent.
