An asphalt concrete pavement layer with a minimum thickness of three inches matches existing conditions and is compacted to ninety-five percent per ASTM D1557. Below the asphalt sits a layer of Class II aggregate base with a minimum thickness of six inches, similarly compacted to ninety-five percent per ASTM D1557. The lowest layer consists of compacted subgrade with a minimum thickness of twelve inches, also compacted to ninety-five percent per ASTM D1557.
