Concrete reinforcement layout around a circular pipe or manhole opening with a diameter D. Two number five reinforcing bars spaced at three inches are added to each face diagonally across the opening. All reinforcing bars have a minimum length equal to the opening diameter plus twenty inches and are centered on the openings.
