Reinforcement consists of number four by twelve-inch slip dowels spaced at twenty feet on center, alongside one-quarter-inch expansion joint material conforming to ASTM Designation D 1751. Subgrade preparation must follow the recommendations of the geotechnical engineer, maintaining a three-inch minimum clearance below the curb base.
