An integrated ductile iron frame and grate matches the basin outer diameter and is specified as ductile iron per ASTM A536 Grade 70-50-05. A vertical drainage connection stub joint with a watertight joint for corrugated high-density polyethylene connects to various types of inlet and outlet adapters available from four to twelve inches. The assembly rests over a trench with a four-inch minimum clearance, referencing the storm drain trench detail elsewhere on the sheet.
