An exterior clean out is installed on a sanitary or storm sewer line, terminating flush with the finish grade in a patio, paver, or asphalt area. The assembly incorporates a cast iron building sewer or storm line connected via a cast iron bend and MG couplings or Fernco type couplers typically. A brass screw type plug with a countersunk head is provided at the surface within a concrete collar. When located in a patio or paver area, the clean out is constructed flush with the grade of the pavement.
