This assembly consists of a shallow cleanout access point installed beneath a finished surface of softscape, gravel, or paving. A forty-five degree bend connects the cleanout riser to the horizontal drainage pipe, with the pipe size determined per the project plans. A minimum clearance of four inches is maintained between the top of the cleanout and the finished grade. Per the project notes, cleanouts for pipes six inches or smaller must match the pipe diameter, while pipes larger than six inches require a six-inch cleanout utilizing a pipe reducer or a branch on a wye fitting.
