The stop bar is twelve inches wide and positioned four feet from the face of curb, with a post-mounted stop sign set further back. The painted white stop word marking measures eight feet high by eight feet five inches wide overall, with individual letter spacing and stroke widths clearly dimensioned per plan. All words and pavement markings must be applied in reflective white paint in accordance with Section 3B of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
