A concrete curb features a one-inch PVC pipe weep hole placed at ten feet on center or at each scoreline, set one-half inch above the adjacent asphalt concrete pavement. The subgrade beneath the structure is scarified and recompacted according to the geotechnical report over a layer of base rock. Drainage water flows through the PVC pipe through the curb to prevent water buildup behind the pavement.
