A joist seat bears upon a 1-inch by 5-inch by 10-inch seat plate welded with five-sixteenth-inch fillet welds typical each side. A 3/8-inch by 4-inch by 10-inch Grade 36 tie plate ties the top of the assembly together using quarter-inch fillet welds. Vertical 3/4-inch by 5-inch stiffeners are placed each side and welded to the channel web and flange with five-sixteenth-inch fillet welds. Four 3/4-inch diameter by 6-inch non-slip anchor assemblies are positioned beyond the joist seat.
