The ditch riprap apron consists of a stone-lined channel with side slopes at 1V:2H or flatter and a 2400 millimeter top width. A geotextile fabric lines the excavation underneath the riprap layer, which has a minimum thickness of 300 millimeters. The subgrade is prepared with compacted and stabilized material beneath the geotextile along the 600 millimeter wide flowline. Finished grade transitions smoothly into the sloped stone edges.
