An L-angle measuring 1 inch by 1-3/8 inches by 4-1/16 inches long and 1/8 inch thick is secured to a concrete substrate using two 1/4-inch diameter Hilti KH-EZ concrete anchors with 2-1/2 inch embedment and a 1.75-inch minimum edge distance. An isolator pad sits between the L-angle and the concrete surface. The door frame component is fastened to the L-angle using two screws per angle.
