A cast-in-place concrete curb and gutter profile is supported by prepared subgrade soil. The section specifies an eighteen-inch overall width with a twelve-inch gutter and six-inch curb face, incorporating rounded corners with a half-inch radius and a one-inch radius at the gutter invert. Number four slip dowels at twelve inches on center are paired with quarter-inch expansion joint material spaced at twenty feet on center. Subgrade preparation must follow recommendations from the project geotechnical report, and adjacent pavement or base materials are sized per plan.
