A quarter-inch stainless steel orifice plate is mounted within the wall of a catch basin on the discharge side, featuring a twenty-inch by twenty-inch clear opening. A drain pipe passes through the assembly with its invert matched to the bottom of the orifice invert. The specific orifice size is determined per the grading plan.
