A catch basin insert hangs beneath a frame and grate inside a masonry drainage structure, capturing sediment accumulation at the base. A retrieval strap extends from the rim of the insert for removal beneath the existing or finished grade. An overflow protection feature is positioned near the top of the insert below the grate level. A minimum thirty-six inch clearance is maintained from the surface grade to the lower portion of the drainage structure.
