An eight-inch storm pipe penetrates a core-drilled ten-inch diameter hole in the concrete wall of an area inlet. A flexible watertight manhole connector seals the pipe penetration within the wall assembly. The pipe is installed in place with a waterproof gasket and finished with grout as needed, then trimmed flush with the interior face of the manhole walls.
