The assembly consists of a corrugated metal riser anchored to a concrete base, which may alternatively be secured with metal stakes and wire to prevent flotation. A one-inch diameter schedule 40 steel stub serves as the dewatering orifice, connecting to a solid wall pipe and a watertight coupling. This transitions to a perforated polyethylene drainage tubing, which is capped at the top and secured to the riser with adequate strapping. The riser maintains a minimum height of three and a half feet above the base, with the orifice positioned at a minimum of six inches above the base. The perforated tubing must comply with ASTM F667 and AASHTO M294 standards and have a diameter at least two inches larger than the dewatering orifice.
