A wide flange beam with a wood nailer connects to a C12 channel ledger with a tie plate and a 5/8-inch seat plate. The nailer is held back 10 inches from the channel. Joist seats and stiffeners are welded with a five-sixteenths-inch fillet weld, and the connection includes a quarter-inch weld with a length of 4 inches. Clearances include a half-inch maximum and a 2-inch maximum spacing.
