A steel core connects to a lug plate housed within a casing and terminates at a gusset plate secured by standard fasteners. Casing caps close each end of the assembly, with fillet welds specified at the transition between the lug plate and gusset plate. Edge distances, bolt spacings, and plate dimensions are designated across the connection profile.
