The end connection for a steel core is encased in a casing and outfitted with lug plates. The steel core width is designated as Wt, while the lug plate thickness is indicated as tL. A gap dimension of ttg equals tg plus one-sixteenth of an inch, with exact sizing referenced per the connection board schedule. The parallel lug plates extend from the casing to form the terminal connection interface.
