A ten gauge steel catch basin is installed with a minimum depth of three feet and twelve inches square dimensions, featuring all steel welded construction coated inside and out with asphalt paint. A light duty cast iron grate with a fifteen inch square rim sits flush at the surface, maintaining a twelve inch minimum clearance to the trap. The internal trap includes a gas-tight threaded cleanout positioned four inches above the basin floor and fourteen inches minimum from the top. A pipe of size per plan connects to the basin through a forty-five degree fitting with invert elevation per plan, utilizing a ten gauge steel Lynch Co., Gatemaster, or approved equal enclosure.
