An eight-inch diameter perforated high-density polyethylene storm drain is bedded within a trench of two-inch washed gravel. The gravel bed maintains a minimum clearance of six inches on the sides and bottom relative to the pipe. A layer of geotextile filter fabric completely envelops the gravel bed, requiring a one-foot minimum overlap at all seams. A six-inch soil cover sits above the fabric layer, reaching up to the varying finish grade.
