A standard six-inch vertical concrete curb sets upon a four-inch minimum class two aggregate base course. The subgrade beneath the aggregate base is scarified and recompacted to ninety-five percent density. Two reinforcing bars are embedded within the vertical curb section per note two. Asphalt concrete pavement slopes away from the curb over additional class two aggregate base material.
