A concrete curb measuring six inches wide at the top and varying in height rests on a four-inch minimum Class II aggregate base layer. The asphalt concrete pavement slopes away from the curb over additional Class II aggregate base. Subgrade material is scarified and recompacted to ninety-five percent with a six-inch embedment depth. Reinforcing steel is placed within the concrete curb according to note two.
